Tonight at around 600 PM I was very excited to pick out an adult Mississippi Kite flying north with purpose over Soldier's Delight in Baltimore County. I was on the Serpentine Trail, where it is covered in canopy. There happened to be a clearing in front of me, where I detected and got on the bird. I was excited but the bird went over the trees I was under, and I knew a documentation shot would be virtually impossible. I put my camera up towards the direction it was headed and started firing. I captured the bird in one incredibly poor shot. I told myself I wouldn't the photo, but did anyway. If anyone is interested, here it is:
