Good evening all,
Alli and I also went to Blue Mash today but arrived a bit late. We saw John Pangborn's car in the lot but never saw him. We didn't arrive till probably just before 9. We missed some of his birds, such as Wood Duck, Savannah Sparrow and Killdeer, but we also saw in addition to his list; Brown Thrasher, White-crowned Sparrow, Canada Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Ovenbird, Black-throated Blue Warbler (heard only, singing in the woods), Palm Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, Eastern Wood Pewee, Eastern Phoebe, Baltimore Oriole, Red-eyed Vireo, Barn Swallow, and Ruby-throated Hummingbird, in addition to all the birds on John's list.

I saw what I thought was a Lincoln's Sparrow but it disappeared before I could relocate it. Had a number of warblers that did the same thing. And we saw (perhaps the same individual as John) a Veery, and it may be a new bird for my park list, but I cannot find my BM list anywhere. Lots and lots of Yellow Warblers and Common Yellowthroats and good numbers of towhees also.

We had 60 species total.
