Folks,

Paul & I will be leading a Baltimore Bird Club-sponsored walk this coming
Sunday morning, description & directions below. If you are driving in via
Forest Park, scan the mowed grass for possible Yellow-crowned Night Herons
from the car - I've been seeing them in the morning. Google 1900 Eagle
Drive, Baltimore Md 21207 for a map of the area. Hope to see you! Elise

MAY 6 (Sun) 8:00 a.m. GWYNNS FALLS/LEAKIN PARK. Please join us for a bird
walk in this approximately 1200 acre wilderness park in west Baltimore City.
The park contains mature and secondary forest as well as riparian habitats
and some limited field habitat. Meet at the parking lot at Windsor Mill Road
and Eagle Drive. Leaders: Elise & Paul Kreiss, 410-367-8194,
 and

Directions to Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park. Meet at the parking lot at 1900
Eagle Drive. From I-695 Beltway take exit 16, I-70 EAST to where it ends at
the Park & Ride lot. Take an immediate right out of the Park & Ride area
onto Security Boulevard (north). Right at the first light, Forest Park.
Right at next light on Windsor Mill Road. The Eagle Drive entrance, flanked
by two eagles on pillars, will be on your right and the parking lot is
visible from the road.
