An incredible day at Susquehanna State Park. My husband Jim and I, birded from 7-4, and we didn't know when to stop. We had a total of 25 warblers. With the help of Tim Houghton, we were able to get awesome looks at a NASHVILLE and a WILSON'S. Another birder ( I'm sorry I don't know his name!), told us about NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH at Lapidum and we were able to get that as well The cast of warblers: YELLOW, CHESTNUT-SIDED, MAGNOLIA, BLACKTHROTED BLUE, CERULEAN (heard only), BLACK THROATED GREEN (heard only), YELLOW-RUMPED, PRAIRIE (heard only), BLACKPOLL, YELLOW-THROATED, NASHVILLE (thanks Tim!), BLUE WINGED, NORTHERN PARULA, BLACK AND WHITE, AMERICAN REDSTART, PROTHONOTORY, WORM EATING (heard only), COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, KENTUCKY, NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH, OVENBIRD (heard only), CANADA, WILSON"S (thank's Tim!), and CHAT. We added many FOY birds including INDIGO BUNTING, SCARLET TANAGER and both BALTIMORE and ORCHARD ORIOLES. My feet are aching now, but it was well worth it!
