Lou DeMouy, Gerry Hawkins, Sally Wechsler and I birded the Patuxent North Tract this morning.  We ended up with 67 species.  Highlights included both SCARLET and SUMMER TANAGERS, CEDAR WAXWINGS, YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, 15 warbler species including NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, BLACK-AND-WHITE, PROTHONOTARY, KENTUCKY, HOODED, BLACK-THROATED BLUE, PRAIRIE and BLACK-THROATED GREEN and BALTIMORE ORIOLE. A very fine morning - most enjoyable.
