Sunny at first becoming partly cloudy; 54-71 degrees; excellent visibility;
winds strong, northwesterly, 8-16 mph, gusting to 24 mph

Raptor Observations:
A nice flight today with immature Broadwings and vultures dominating

Non-raptor Observations:
Strong swallow/swift/martin flight with 3 Cliff Swallows and 50 Chimney
Swifts at a minimum; Red-headed Woodpecker and Sora continue; a pair of
Eastern Kingbirds nest building; Least Terns around all day.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
