I made a short trip to northern Frederick County today (5/12). I found two singing Cerulean warblers along Friends Creek Road about 300 meters east of Friends Creek Church. I had a good view of one of the warblers as it sang. This area is about a half mile south of the PA line. There were also a Kentucky Warbler, several American Redstarts, Louisiana Waterthrush, and Yellow-throated Vireo in the area. I also had two male Bobolinks in fields along Creamery Road southeast of Emmittsburg.
