Cedar Waxwing apparent courting behavior: Two sitting about 2 inches
apart on a horizontal limb. One had a seed in its mouth and hopped
very close to the other one and gave it its seed. The other
hopped 2 inches away and then hopped back up close to the first one
and gave back the seed. They repeated this hopping/exchange ritual
about twenty times without stopping.
