Although slightly out of area, I have three hummingbird feeders at my
home near Gettysburg PA. Two pairs of RT arrived the last day of April
and began feeding and courtship displays. They were "in residence" for
one week and then disappeared all at once, and I haven't seen one since.

Same situation over here in Talbot County. No regular visiting by
Hummers.
I have seen three individual visits to my feeder - spread out over the
past
month. Also saw three hummers out in fields when birding in the region.
In
prior years a pair has taken residence in early May and been regular
visitors for several weeks.

Regarding House Wrens - close to the same story. I have seen three at
various sites while out birding, but none taking residence here at home.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] hummers

Hi --

We also have had NO hummers in our garden (blooming trumpet vine and
native
honeysuckle) although a fellow who lives next to Wheaton Regional Park
and
got his feeder up early said he had a bunch all together about two weeks
ago
and still some now (although we've yet to see one there).

Very low numbers of neotropical migrants this year at any of our local
sites...
