Similar situation in Cabin John. I thought "my" hummers had shown up a couple of weeks ago when I finally saw a male one day and a female the next but I haven't seen either since then.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] hummers
Hi --
We also have had NO hummers in our garden (blooming trumpet vine and native
honeysuckle) although a fellow who lives next to Wheaton Regional Park and got
his feeder up early said he had a bunch all together about two weeks ago and
still some now (although we've yet to see one there).
Very low numbers of neotropical migrants this year at any of our local sites...
