After having no success with the Mourning at Eden Mills, my husband Jim and I decided to try for the SABINES GULL in Delaware and got it as well as REDKNOTS and a pair of ROYAL TERNS , as well as many other shorebirds. We then hit Kent County in Md., and had 2 DICKCISSELS on Sassafras Caldwell Rd. in Galena, about 1/4 mile east of the intersection with RTE. 299. We heard two, saw one perched on a clump of grass in a freshly mowed field. I just hope they stick around, because the field was being mowed, while we were there. Now I'm out the door to try for the Mourning, for the 4th time this week!
