I found several Dickcissels (singing males) in northern Frederick and adjacent parts of Carroll County today (5/28).  One was in a solitary tree along Creamery Road maybe a quarter mile north of Keysville Road.  Two more were along Sixes Bridge Road a short distance west of Sixes Road.  In Carroll County two Dickcissels were along Sixes Bridge Road near a dairy farm about 200 yards west of Keysville Road.  The Bobolink, also in Carroll County, was a male perched on the wires next to Sixes Bridge Road just north of Mumma Ford road.
