For those birders on hand yesterday (June 2), I posted 4 images of the
"Alder" we saw, here:

http://www.pbase.com/nrothschild/gallery/flycatchers_20120602

That gallery includes another Flycatcher, for comparison, that I shot in the
afternoon. That bird was at the large deadfall just south of the bridge
over the stream below the education center, from the south side of the
stream and about 150 feet west of the bridge. This bird was in much better
light.

Between 9:24 and 11:27am I shot over 100 images of the suspected Alder but
on a quick glance don't see much added value in posting more, unless there
is some need or interest. It was all the same bad light or worse.

I heard it call several times after the other birders left and thought it
sounded like the Alder; more like the Alder and with a longer call than the
Willow calls on my Sibley app.
