This morning (9/23) at Rock Creek Park.

A good morning for warblers including one that was a puzzle to all. It had the plain face, eye-ring and head of a chestnut-sided warbler, the body with streaking of a magnolia warbler but without the characteristic black in the tip of the tail, and the tail splayed with white feathers like a hooded warbler. Talk about a confusing fall warbler!
