Afternoon all,
A breezy morning seems to have kept activity a bit low, but the front meadow was active. Between 4 and 6 yellow (Eastern) Palm Warblers were busy feeding back and forth, to the ground and up to the weeds, etc. so hard to keep track of exact numbers, but fun to watch. One landed in a tall weed only about 10 feet away and watched me watching him!
Also, there were 2 female/brown type PURPLE FINCHES perched in a dying Bradford pear tree, as well as Yellow-rumped Warbler, and several young Cedar Waxwings.

Had goldfinch as well as House Finch but so far no siskins today. I was hoping they'd stick around till the Big Sit. Sharp-shinned and Red-shouldered Hawks made appearances.
