I also unsuccessfully searched the trail and the Pine Ridge Golf Course area for the Crossbills from about 11.30am to 1.30pm. Best bird was a Pine Warbler at the golf course. Also a few ducks in Loch Raven: Hooded Merganser 8, Ring-necked Duck 80, American Wigeon 90.
