As I do everyday when I get home, I immediately check my bird feeder. Today was no different but I certainly didn't expect to see anything in it because of the driving rain/snow and wind that we experienced (12/26). But I was more than surprised when I saw a Dark Eyed Junco sitting and eating like it was a beautiful calm day. I watched for over 5 minutes as the little bird didn't seem fazed by the weather. It was my first junco/feeder sighting this year.
