Thanks for the inquiry. I was wondering when this would pop up. These codes are used by a few of us for an internal report, but feel free to use them in your eBird reports as well. Ultimately it will help us out in the long run, particularly if we need more info regarding a particular rarity.
rr = railroad/powerline cut (not open to the public)
bc = building complex (trailers)
dn = north dredge cell/north dike
ds = south dredge cell/south dike
rp = retention ponds (not open to the public)
uw = upland woods (woods along the road to the wetlands)
mw = mitigated wetland (east side of road)
ww = western wetland (west side of road)
wr = wetland road (not open to the public)
rv = Patapsco River
