Subject: [MDBirding] NW DC - Bay-breasted Warblers galore
A nemesis bird for spring in DC until this morning, I saw 3 male BAY-BREASTED WARBLERS (all singing) along my walking commute this morning. Other good birds included a WILSON'S WARBLER right along Woodley Ave. near Tregaron Conservancy and another DC spring nemesis, a LEAST FLYCATCHER, che-beking away along the "tiger trails" boardwalk behind the zoo's big cat exhibit.

It seems like a great year for the spruce/spruce budworm-loving warblers. I'm seeing multiple Cape May Warblers every time out, and now this influx of Bay-breasted Warblers. Hopefully this impressive stretch of migration days continues for awhile.
