I want to add my vote for keeping the MDOsprey an open forum, as Norm originally
conceived when he started it up.  We just need to remember that MDOsprey serves
different needs for different people.  As Norm says, if a particular message does
not meet your needs, use the delete key and know that someone else is probably
using the save key for that same message.  I would rather see this diversity
continued, instead of trying to make it fit into some narrow range of rules.

And as for noting which state a sighting occurs in, I think it is safe to assume
that postings on MDOsprey refer to MD birds, unless otherwise noted.  I think most
postings have followed this convention and I can't see why this should cause
anyone a problem.
