Hey Eddie! Here is an old old trick.....at a place like Pt.Mahon in Delaware, take a plastic tarp and lay on it on the beach and then lay down on top (a small umbrella for shade helps)......and simply wait for the shorebirds to walk down the beach to you....is 2 or 3 feet too close?
