Buffies and warblers

I finally got some good, definitive looks at 2, possibly 3,
Buff-breasted Sandpipers at the turf farm on John Brown Rd (QA Co, about
a mile east of Rt 301, south of where Rt 301 crosses 213). They were in
the grass near the irrigation pipe that goes north from John Brown Rd
near the office/house of the farm. This was today, Saturday, Sep 5
around 2 pm. They were mainly about 50 yards away, but one appeared
several times in a wet depression about 15-20 yards away. The more
distant ones sometimes strutted around in good view showing very
pronounced bobbing of the head. Their overall buffy coloring was readily
apparent. The grass seemed to have been cut since last weekend, making
viewing much easier. These were MD state birds for me.

Also in that area were 3 American Golden Plovers again, and maybe 30
Killdeer. No Marbled Godwit, unfortunately.

On the way home, I stopped briefly at the turf farm on Pleasant Plains
Rd off Rt 179 in AA Co, where Dave Walbeck had some Buffies a few years
ago, but I didn't find anything but about 10 Killdeer.

Earlier, from about 9:30 to 12:00, I did Turkey Point (Elk Neck St Pk).
There were several active pockets of warblers. My 12 warbler species
there were:
Blue-winged
Nashville, Parula
Chestnut-sided
Magnolia
Black-throated Blue
Black-throated Green
Blackburnian
Bay-breasted
Black-and-White
Redstart
Yellowthroat.

(It's hard to give a count per species because they were very active and
may have been one moving "pocket" rather than several groups, so I'd
have to say 1 each, at least.)

I also had:
1 Swainson's Thrush
1 Gr-Cr Flycatcher
1 Broad-winged Hawk
2 Bl-gr Gantcatchers
3 White-eyed Vireos
2+ Red-eyed Vireos
1 R-t Hummingbird
