Additions to Baltimore Bird Club page (fwd)

In addition to a page describing the BBC's new "Birder's Guide to
Baltimore and Baltimore County, Maryland," we have also put up
descriptions taken from the "Guide" for two of the most popular Baltimore
birding spots: Lake Roland and Cylburn Arboretum. There is also a map
showing the locations of these sites, and a new page comprising summaries
of recent birding trips to Lake Roland.
All bird lists at the BBC site (including our popular list of the birds of
the Continental US and Canada) have been brought into compliance with the
7th edition of the AOU checklist.
As it has for years, the BBC site continues to carry the latest updates of
regional rare bird alerts; "CHIP NOTES," the BBC newsletter; information
about the BBC; as well as links to other sites of regional interest and to
some of the best and most comprehensive birding sites on the web. The BBC
also maintains the Backyard Birding page.
