Also at Rock Creek this am (which as Bill notes, was only fair-to-good) were two Blue Grosbeaks at the ridge, also about 12-13 species of warbler, quite a few thrushes including a late Hermit and lots of Veeries, still plenty of Blue-headed Vireos about, couple of Hooded Warblers, one on traditional territory near the horse paddock, and good numbers of Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager, and Baltimore Orioles -- all males. Hope for better fall-out if we have some wettish weather, esp. if it comes during the night. Gail Mackiernan
