I "put away" my own and am now search for the "put away" place. It would be easy to recreate the drawings. Yes, I built mine. I used a table saw, a drill motor to predrill for screws and short deck screws to assemble. The lid is on top and requires a hinge. As I said, most predator birds (blue jays, cowbirds, starlings, etc.) don't seem to get into the nest area. We have a few English Sparrows ( in Prince Frederick on Main St., 300 yds S of the Court House). Some have tried to nest, but I removed nest material from the box and no additional attemt was made. I've seen no evidence of them bothering the blue birds. Jack Leighty jleighty@chesapeake.net > >Thanks, Jack.
