Hmmm- I am not sure that Waterstargrass has yellow flowers, I seem to recall they are small, white and star-shaped. Anybody out there know for sure? In any case, the plant is good for fish and probably also for shorebirds, as the mats reach the surface and should provide good feeding areas. Cheers, Gail
