Yes the flowers of water stargrass are yellow. It was quite a spectacular
sight a week or so ago when they were in full bloom. In the area I cover
there are vast mats upstream from Ten Foot Island and as far as I can see
past Sycamore Landing. In past falls I have seen Black Tern hunting over
these spots. Good for ducks now.
