If you look closely at the light and dark areas north of the bridge slightly above an imaginary diagonal line from Fox Ferry across to the Jones Pt. parking lot, I think you will find that the dark blob above and to the left is a shadow of the light blob which is a jet on approach to National Airport! Unless it's a really huge pelican ;)
