Yesterday I was surprised to find a locked barrier across Monocacy Bottom Road when I wanted to bird in the pond area near the river. Does anyone know who barricaded this road and why? Is it a private road that has been open to the public for decades and now closed? If it is a public road, will it ever be opened again? Bob Mumford Darnestown
