Hi All: A glorious fall day, perhaps the last really fine day we`ll have, but disappointingly few raptors; guess they all left yesterday!! The morning began very hazy, finally lifted about 10:30am. Winds were 0-5knots from NW, shifted to E about noon. From 10:30- 1pm SS- 10 BW-3 CH-5 RT-1 MER-1 TV-8 BE-1 immature Observers: Jean & Don Burgess ( NJ), Barb & Susan ( DE ), the Fishers ( Cecil) and a dozen or more hikers/campers intermittently. A MEADOWLARK flushed from the field as hikers strolled through, GOLDFINCH very abundant, flock of ~ 200 observed foraging from seed heads near ground level. PURPLE FINCH and PINE SISKIN flyover. Many BLUEBIRDS moving. Leslie Fisher Cecil Co
