Hi folks,

I was at a turtle conference (for those who research
turtles, not for turtles to attend!) this weekend, so I am
getting all the data second hand, but here goes.

We had another Saw-Whet Owl (#15, methinks) on Sat night.

We had 88 birds in the migration nets Sat AM, including
mostly the usual suspects:
masses of Goldfinches large enough to physically take the
banders hostage if they ever got it into their minds.
2nd Fox Sparrow of the year
1st Hairy Woodpecker of the year
several Ruby-crowned Kinglets
Catbird

In other news, a *PEEP* was seen by one of our researchers
today, she thinks possibly a Least Sandpiper.

A Tundra Swan continues, as do 50-100 Ruddy Ducks, a
Pied-billed Grebe or two, a smattering of ducks and Eagles
and several Harriers.

Have fun
Charlie
