	Thanks for the posting about the Sandhill Crane.  Luther Goldman and I 
travelled to the Eastern Shore, stopping on the way down and on the way back 
from Blackwater NWR to try for the Crane.  The return trip was fruitful.  
	We saw a fair number of Snow Geese at the refuge that were pretty far 
out.  Lots of pipits and Horned Larks in the fields at Tarbutton Mill Road and 
Egypt Road (in Dorchester) too.  The day before, I saw 3 Swainson's Thrushes in 
Laurel.  This seems really late to me.
	Sunday going home I stopped at Rocky Gap SP.  There were 4 or 5  coots, 
5 Lesser Scaup (2 male, 3 female), 4 Bufflehead, 9 Ruddy Ducks and a few 
Mallards.
