Hi folks,

On a lunchtime walk at RFK Stadium in SE Washington, I
spotted a few springtime arrivals and one NEW bird for
my SE/RFK list: Indigo Bunting #86

Other new arrivals: House Wren, Killdeer, Eastern
Kingbird, Barn Swallow, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Eastern
Towhee and Chipping Sparrow.

Last week's arrivals included: Field Sparrow, No.
Rough-winged Swallow, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and the
Flickers have now replaced the Sapsuckers.

Incidentally, the very large dead tree in the middle
of Congressional Cemetery has been removed. It
probably housed a whole colony of Starlings, but I had
always hoped to find an Eagle perched majestically
atop the tree.

Still hoping for Cancun birding info.....

Rog
