I have been so jealous of all the reports of people with pine siskins and purple finches at their feeders.  But today, I got one of my own!!  A cute little female sitting there at my thistle feeder with all of my beautiful goldfinches.  WOO HOO!!!  I wonder if there is a male around somewhere? 

Maybe someday I'll get a purple finch too! 

I now have a total of 16 species at my feeders this year!  (not counting the sharp-shinned hawks and others who feed on my feeder birds).  Not bad for a townhouse in Columbia.
