Variably cloudy; 57-69 degrees; Winds from the E or SE, 8-10 mph

Observations:
Flight was slow but steady and then shut off around noon (EST).  Because I was out of town, I did not post the results of April 16 promptly.  There were 330 raptors with a notable 40 Northern Harriers.  Also, on April 17, 121 Common Loons were observed from 9 to 12:30.  Thanks, Dave Mozurkewich.

Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD.  Best
winds are from the southwest.
