Hi Everybody,

Nancy and I took another morning walk today around Chesapeake Landing. Not a lot of warblers around and those were Myrtles (Yellow-rumps) and yellowthroat. What was around were Scarlet Tanagers, we located seven "black-winged redbirds" and were fortunate enough to see four of them. We also had a whisper-singing male Rose-breasted Grosbeak gleaning caterpillars from a red oak, a displaying Red-tailed Hawk looking like it was riding a rollercoaster in the air, and a BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO calling in a thicket just down Clarissa Rd from our house (toward Elbon Rd).
