Morning all,

Just a quick update. I had my first (as in Life) Blue Grosbeak at Point Lookout yesterday near the camp ground entrance. He was sooooo blue I thought it was a bit of someones trash until he moved. Wow what a color! The brown pelicans also seem to be back around the Park, I've seen them the last two evenings while fishing. I was up at 5am today to get the Whip-poor-will across the street (in Callaway), I was hoping for an owl but no such luck. For anyone who likes to fish as well as bird the croakers and rockfish are starting to hit down at Point Lookout, but only in the evening/after dark. I had a nice big rockfish day before yesterday but *sigh* he came loose before I could get him out of the water. Maybe next time though. At least the gulls are fun to watch while I drown worms. :)

Stay dry this weekend.
