Are the managers of these retail establishments aware that their store roofs
have become nesting sites for a threatened species? It would be great if
efforts were made to avoid disturbing the Least Terns during the breeding
season. Perhaps DNR or a local birding group could approach them.

...The roof of the Giant Supermarket in Easton is alive with Least Terns.
Yesterday evening a quick count yielded 65 birds, there is probably more.
The roof of Lowe's also must have nesting pairs. A few were seen flying
around the parking lot.
