 Spatterdock, also spelled spatter-dock, aka, Cow-lily, yellow Pond-lily. It
is the water lily with the tight yellow flowers which is all over the large
impoundment on the left at Hughes Hollow, refered to in the Birders Guide to
Montgomery County write up for Hughes Hollow as "bull-lily" which may or may not
be the same species.

Nuphar luteum, N. macrophyllum, and N. sagittifolium.
