For the song that reminded you of a Tennessee warbler,
you might consider Indigo Bunting.

They are pretty variable in their songs & have a kind of
syncopation that could remind someone of a Tennessee.

p.s. - If you happen to be going by recordings, the Indigo Buntings don't always do that "fire, fire, where, where" thing.
