Kayaking in Baltimore's Inner Harbor last night around sunset, I paddled
under the heavily-trafficked pedestrian bridge between the National
Aquarium and Power Plant. I was amazed to find two BCNHs sitting on a
floating debris barrier under one of the bridge arches. They were amazed
to see me, too, and quickly took off toward the harbor. I've seen BCNHs
all around Baltimore Harbor (including nesting on an abandoned pier at
Fell's Point), but this was by far the closest I've seen them to all the
activity of the Inner Harbor.
