We just recently joined the list and have been enjoying everyone's postings. It's great to get the heads up on good birding spots.
We took a quick trip around the local (Caroline, Talbot, Queen Anne) area today to see what would turn up at the side of the road. Was hoping to see the Lapland Longspur reported at Rts 404 & 309 - no luck.
Here's the trip and our yard list-

Horned Larks - 50+
Meadow Larks- 21
Bald Eagle-1
Sparrows - White Throated, House and Song - Many
Juncos - Many
Hermit Thrushes - 8
