I remember that Lark Sparrow fondly.

The place is now a housing development, I've heard.

Where was that place that Marshall found a Lark Sparrow back in 1999?
That was just down I-97 from where Kevin works and would be a nice
lunch
birding spot, unless it's a condo now :(

Kevin Shea asks about birding locales near Rt. 50, in Anne Arundel
County.

Kevin, you might check out Sandy Point State Park--it's the last exit
from Rt.
50 before you cross the Bay Bridge, and it offers a variety of
habitats
that
produce birds throughout the year. I'm sure the Anne Arundel folks
can
make
other suggestions as well.
