Ditto on the "No N. Lapwing" for the afternoon shift searching for the bird.  My brother Jack & I also covered several of the back roads checking many of the other fields, but with no luck.

All the birders we came across at both locations were politely self-restrained in proper areas.  And several were absolutely delightful...it's great to meet people like that!

Helps take the sting out of whatever bird that was you came to see.  Lots of Red-tailed Hawks in the area, along with at least one American Kestral.  And, no Frank, that was not a Merlin.  Jack's digital pictures were pretty clear on that.
