I am forwarding the message below, which just appeared on the VA-Bird 
list-serv.

I'm not sure that we have any verified Eurasian Collared-Dove records for 
Maryland, do we? I know that I certainly haven't ever seen one 
here.  Nearest was in Selbyville, Delaware (about 200 yards from the state 
line!) a couple of years ago.

Anyway, thanks to Frederic Bogar and Ray Smith for the information.  I'm 
sure MD birders will want to follow up.
