Just to the north of Bigham Rd towards the battlefield you cross a river.
Just before you cross the river, there is a road, turn right and it
dead-ends
at a beautiful restored covered bridge of historic significance. Cross the
bridge and there is a beautiful stand of pines -- bears further
investigation
for birds. Also a dam and good habitat -- the day I was there the wind was
blowing a gale, and the only waterfowl present were a pair of Canadas.
