Hi All,

If you have some interest in birding as a sporting proposition, and would like to have a fun way to contribute to the Maryland Ornithological Society's Breeding Bird Atlas Project, Nancy and I will be attempting a Birdathon limited to Kent County on 7 May. We have done Kent County Big Days for the last three years and have compiled a composite list of 153 species and averaged 126 species with a high count thus far of 129 on 18 May 2003. We thought we might run the Big Day earlier this year allowing us to scout a bit for the May Count on the ensuing Saturday. If anyone would like to offer pledges per species for our efforts we would be most appreciative. Our contact information appears in the signature block below. All proceeds will be sent to MOS Treasurer Emy Holdridge (checks made out to MOS) and go towards materials and supplies for the Atlas and paying for block busting and miniroute coverage. Thanks for your consideration and help.

Good Atlasing,

Walter Ellison Nancy Martin
