   Hello
I went out with my birding-buddy Steve Whitcomb today, starting about 7am and saw at least 8 year first birds. About 4 of them were lifers.
The best one was a Prothonatary Warbler at CNO Canal, (is that what the canal is called Steve?). I got a perfect look it. The other lifers was a Bobolink on a field along, er, I forgot the name of that street. In Montgomery County. And a Greater Yellowlegs and White-eyed Vireo at Lily Ponds.
I took a good, long look at all those birds. I also saw an Eastern Meadowlark up on a telephone line. I didn't get to look at that one too long before it flew away, but I'm pretty sure that's what it was.
I also saw a Great Crested Flycatcher, Wood Thrush, Chipping Sparrow, a lot of Chipping Sparrows, and Field Sparrow. They were all FOY's.
