So, my question, is there something else that sounds like a CS Warbler (no
indication that it was a mocker), or could this have been a tardy migrant?
Ray,
Could it (they) have been American Redstarts? They give a variety of songs,
some of which can certainly sound like Chestnut-sided, and they do breed in
county. Possibly just late Chestnut-sided though. My daughter and I had a
late Magnolia Warbler last Monday (Memorial Day) at Blue Mash (unreported,
sorry).
