Subject: White-throated Sparrow and Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Prince George's County


 As a result of our MD/DC Atlasing activities on Sunday , July 3 , around Clinton and Andrews AFB in Prince Georges county , MD , Jake Walker and myself came across a couple of seasonal interesting birds , a tan adult White-throated Sparrow and an adult male Rose-breasted Grosbeak . The WTSP was located along the park trial just to the nw of the intersection of Brandywine Road and Surratts Road and the RBGR was along the pedestrian trial just to the w of the intersection of Surratts Road and Stuart Lane . Early returning migrants or over summerers' ?

   Despite the new housing developments severly limiting the amount of suitable habitat , we were also able to locate Hooded Warbler , Ovenbird , Pine warbler and Louisiana Waterthrush.
